Mrs. Cassie Bauman -- Reading Intervention

I am delighted to be teaching Reading Intervention at LBCS! 

I went to Seattle Pacific University for undergraduate and teaching certificate in English Language Arts. A few years later, I received a Master’s in Education, focusing on Struggling Readers, from the University of Washington. 

I was born in California and have lots of family here, so after five years of teaching Middle School English and Drama in Seattle, I moved back to raise my family.  In 2018, my husband, Matt, two kids and I moved to Loomis.  Now there are three kids! 

I love baking, gardening, shopping and traveling.   Another Fun fact- I started a home bakery in my home and served yummy muffins, scones, croissants, and sourdough bread to families in Loomis for the last two and a half years!

I love the wonderful community here in Loomis, which is also reflected in our amazing school and district!
